Hey! I'm Neha Gupta
(don't bother searching, it's the most common name in India)
I got into design the way most people fall in love. Accidentally and then all-consumingly.
I've always just been curious about how things work, in fact one of my favorite shows as a child was “How It's Made”

My design philosophies
Don't make me read
Don't make me read
People like to read books, not interfaces.
Nobody reads UI. They scan, click the first button they see, and move on. So I design interfaces where the structure does the talking. Headings that describe the action. Buttons that tell you exactly what happens next. If a subtitle has to carry the weight of the explanation, the heading failed. Help text is always the last resort, never the plan.
Clarity over cleverness
Clarity over cleverness
Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.
The best design feels obvious in hindsight. I strip away everything that doesn't serve the user until what's left is clear, calm, and easy to act on.
Solve the real problem
Solve the real problem
Not the visible one.
The thing people complain about is rarely the thing that's actually broken. I dig deeper to find the root cause, even when the surface-level fix would be faster.
Put it out there
Put it out there
Ship it. Learn from it.
The fastest way to make something better is to let people use it. Real feedback beats meeting debates every time.
